As the first-line safety specialist, you perform all compulsory checks in order to ensure that a train is fit for purpose prior to its departure. You will also be required to make up convoys, operate the points, issue manoeuvring instructions, couple and uncouple freight cars, at all times abiding by strict rules of safety.

Your job consists of overseeing and performing freight car manoeuvres on a client's industrial site. You control and prepare the rolling stock and organize all on-site manoeuvres such as secure routing and switching operations.

Your role is to ensure the smooth & seamless implementation of the contract that has been assigned to you, while at all times guaranteeing the safety and quality of the service provided.

Your job is to ensure that our train drivers' knowledge and skills are up to date and relevant by working at their side as they go about their day-to-day work.

You are responsible for the safety of all ground operators, monitoring their actions and ensuring that they possess all the skills and techniques required to perform their job safely.

Field profession you are the only one at the controls of your train and transport goods over short or long distances. Speed limits and signs are no secret to you. Attentive, you show composure in the face of the unexpected.

At CAPTRAIN France Formation, you design and deliver theoretical input and also supervise field work. You also oversee future train drivers during their simulator sessions.
